Why are printed Photo’s important

Why are printed Photo’s important

When I first started photography there was no digital cameras, we shot film, developed it ourselves and then printed it in the dark room. At that time there was nothing better than seeing your images appear in the developer. From a blank page to something that you created.

This enjoyment out of seeing my work in print has always stayed with me, and now as a purely digital photographer, I don’t get to see my work printed enough.

For me there is something very special about having a tangible printed product of that thing that you have created.

I love to show off my images to other people, and everything just looks so much better when it has been printed on fancy paper or in a nice book. Images online are there for such a short amount of time.
